    Email alerts being sent to inactive users

    I just found that, where a user was set as an issue watcher but was subsequently set "inactive", they continue to receive email alerts when the issue is commented, edited, etc. This is version 2.2.7, by the way.

    Seems like odd behaviour, and something that would have been brought to our attention before so I figured something must have been broken somehow but now I'm not so sure. Is this correct behaviour?

    Thank you for pointing this out. We can provide the sql to remove the user from the watch issue list.

    Actually, I tweaked the stored procedure gemini_getusersforissuealert to exclude inactive issue and project watchers which seems to have done the trick. As long as it'll be fixed in a v3 release that's fine - I was concerned that the problem would reappear when we migrate to v3.
