    Why Gemini settings don't seem to work

    Sometimes the following scenario can occur:

     

    1.      You start an automated installation of Gemini (via EXE file) and this places files into “C:\Program Files\CounterSoft\WebApp”.

    2.      You then perform a manual installation usually into “C:\InetPub\wwwroot\Gemini…”.

     

    At this point your IIS virtual directory (e.g. http://server/gemini) could be pointing to either one of the two locations detailed above and hence you could be making changes to the wrong web.config file.
