We are using AD integration for our gemini install and the ticket system works great with the web interface and the desktop application.
However, when I try to integrate with our DNN intranet, I get a invalid Gemini URL/user/password error when I run the TEST GEMINI CONNECTION
Is Active Directory Authentication not supported with this integration ?

Unfortunately, yes AD is not supported by the DNN module at the moment.

Is it possible to setup gemini to accept AD auth from browsers and the desktop app and also allow the admins to login through other applications via standard interface ?

Yes, what you can do is create a 2nd Gemini site that is using Forms authentication pointing to the same database.
