Today I have released "Gemini Mail Machine" at http://gemama.codeplex.com/.
GeMaMa is a free open-source application that enables full mail-based lifecycle of issues in Gemini.
Features include:
- Create issues in Gemini by sending a mail without creating a specific mailadress and mailboxprocessor for every project.
- Respond to received mails from gemini and thereby inserting a comment to an existing issue.
Requirements:
- one "Catch-All Email Account"(used for all new issues)
- one designated emailaccount (used for reponses)
- Some kind of scheduled task - fetching an aspx-page every minute.
Remarks:
I've tried to isolated the code in such a manner that it should be quite easy to create a service instead - fell free to join the project at codeplex.
Planned extension before final release:
- a notifycationmail when an issue is overdue - feel free to contribute with suggestions.
